Christina: The Cooke FamilyI was referred to this blog by my husband. I don’t know where he came across it, but the link was to the page about Schuller back in 2006 and then an entry on Paul Washer. I have spent the last 45 minutes going through different entries and I am blown away. The blog world as far as Christians go has been quite disappointing. Although I do not know where I stand on reformed Christianity i did come from a church that taught the 5 points of Calvinism. I have recently been reading much about the life of George Muller and my heart is pierced by his life and love of the scripture. I have felt for over two years that I was missing something in this Christian life and I think one thing is Holiness. That was the goal of George Mullers’ life, as well as Paul Washer, and apparently yours as well. I have to say that reading through some of these entries has brought tears to my eyes. Something throughout these pages are very convicting and I believe it is truth. You mentioned something happens when you commit your life to full time ministry and we are feeling that as well, as we are on that road. I admire your faith through the persecution you are facing. What an encouragement and privilege to suffer for the sake of Christ, something most Americans make the choice never to do. May I not be one of them. Blessings to you!
