KJV - Mark 16:17-18 - And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Why go though all that trouble debating when the Bible presents you with a really really easy way to prove the existance of the God of the Bible? I mean, all you need are some common household items, like bleach.*
I shall eagerly await your result. : D
*Drakim does not condole any form of drinking poison, no matter faith.
But on a more serious note. What's your take on this? Is the Bible only speaking symbolical? When it says "drink any deadly thing" does it more mean like, uhm, well, something else that I can't think of right now?

BOOO! Just wanted you to know I'm still here! Quite busy these days! I was hoping someone else would jump in... Have you repented and put you faith in Christ yet?

I have to say that passage is disputed among Christians.

It is speaking of the Apostles and a narrative of such things happening is recorded in the book of Acts 28:3-6.

It is speaking of the Apostles and a narrative of such things happening is recorded in the book of Acts 28:3-6. Are you sure about that? I know that many Christian churches has their sheep literately picking up snakes because of this passage. I may be missing the context here, but when it says "And these signs shall follow them that believe;", I think very much about Christians, the believers of Christ. But anyway, this topic serves several purposes. This is not the only passage in the Bible that talks about miracles happening. I was merely explaining that if something like this, or some other miracle that Jesus promises, happens, then I would be convinced.
