Hi Folks, greetings in the Lord form the UK. Firstly, hey I think the RE site is excellent I have had some good blessings from it. Secondly, I could do with some help folks, I have been saved now into the 34th year, I have been in IFB Circles but frankly I have become so disillusioned as to what I have seen things become. From Egotism to mysogny and racism. When I first got saved I witnessed for all I was worth, I was taught the Doctrines of Grace but left Reformed Circles do to some bad experiences. I am in a 'strait betwixt two' as I am very much out in the cold fellowship wise. I am a Chaplain and unapologetically as some would term KJVO... I prefer Bible Believer. As I see it the local Church in some quarters has become a self serving ineffective institution all whereas I see the Biblical view as a Training Ground to train Troops to go out and Preach The Gospel primarily and to Disciple and edify the Saints. On the one hand I am surrounded by 'Reformed Brethren' who are rather 'smug' in their position to the wider Society around them to those who are 'hunkering down' till the Lord comes! Because I refuse to 'Conform' I am somewhat 'Outside the Camp'. What i have seen on RF is the Doctrines Of grace held and propagated as they should be, what has always puzzled me in Reformed Circles particularly those of the High Calvinist persuasion is this, they are in a better position than an Arminian in reaching the lost, for all they have to go is go out and find the 'elect' not manufacture them! RF shows how it can be done in a relevant and dynamic way... Every Blessing..

Greetings brother!
God bless you... Remember... geographically you may find it hard to find good fellowship.. I am extremely greatful to the Lord for allowing me the use of the Internet to meet and converse(is that a word) with my dear brothers and sisters in Christ...

Welcome Brother! Thanks for the comments on the Blog! Where in the UK are you? I have a good brother Kevin Williams in the UK... You may want to look him up... Solid Calvinistic Brother! www.PuritanFellowship.com He's a Pastor in Fleetwood England. I feel for your delimma... Indy Baptist and Calvinistic doctrines have a hard time co-existing thus your disillusionment. When I moved to this area I considered an Indy Baptist that was active in street ministry but quickly realized it was not going to work out... www.biblebaptistnet.com/ I would have been able to live with the KJVO thing as I am a dyed in the wool KJVP ("Prefered" - LOL!) but theologically we were miles apart. The kept talking about "how many salvations did I get the last time I went out"... My wife knew that kind of talk was going to launch me right out of there...LOL And you are so right that the "High Reformed" (I like that term) are very smug in their "Ivory Towers of Biblical Knowledge" and neglect the simple preaching of the Gospel. Sometimes I consider them "spiritual racists"... Not sure what "RF" is (Reformed Faith)... I have found the best way to train troops is to be one... Be faithful and you will add one soilder at a time. I have never had over 5 regular brothers to hit the streets with day in and day out but have always been consistant and the Lord has been faithful to raise up a few and many from outside of my church family. Looking forward to having you around... Soli Deo Gloria!
